Spilt Milk are delighted to return to The Model for the second of 2 exciting summer events. Once again collaborating with The Model to showcase emerging sounds and off beat music from around Ireland. In our second encounter, expect some raucous energy as we welcome two live acts, Bean Sí and Julia Louise Knifefist.
Bean Sí
Bean Sí are a Dublin based post punk trio formed in 2021. They’ve gained a reputation over the past 6 months of putting on an energetic, unforgettable live performance. Their style is influenced by 1980s new wave music and have been described as Dark wave, cold wave and synth pop.
Julia Louise Knifefist
Recently performing with the likes of Machine Girl and Gabber Eleganza, with two Knifefists, Julia Louise creates dense, noise influenced dance tracks to thrash to. Delivering the sounds of breakcore, gabber, and digital hardcore, KnifeFist takes to stage with a mission to take you to catharsis with his raw energy, explosive vocals, and brain-shakingly infectious rhythms.
KnifeFist is a founding member of Bitten Twice, a Dublin based experimental rave collective. They’ve been described by Plain Sailing magazine (Belfast) as “one of the most exciting labels to emerge from Ireland in recent memory”.
