Spilt Milk is a new three day festival of music, film and art which will take place in Sligo for the first time in 2019 from 22nd-24th November. The festival will bring national and international artists to perform and exhibit in intimate venues across Sligo Town alongside emerging local artists.

In addition to the music strand, the festival will see a visual art strand featuring video installations, pop-culture inspired film screenings and a record & zine fair.  A key tenet of the festival is to offer something different to the Sligo cultural landscape and engage with young people in particular. To that end and with the help of funding from Sligo Co. Co. and Creative Ireland (Sligo) Programme, 25 free tickets will be made available to under 23s.

Spilt Milk builds on the activities of a group of like-minded individuals each already working within the music landscape and passionate about building a community in Sligo that joins the wider burgeoning alternative music scene across the island of Ireland.
