We’re not quite done yet for the year! Introducing the first Spilt Milk Kidz Konzert: The Extremely Online Ensemble – an interactive music workshop that blends composition, improvisation and serious fun! Taking place on Sunday 20th December from 2pm via Zoom and facilitated by Owen Kilfeather, this is a free event and is aimed at ages 9-12 years.
The workshop is facilitated by Owen Kilfeather, a composer, writer and filmmaker from County Sligo. He has worked with record labels and theatre companies while based in Barcelone, Spain and currently plays with/writes for Miss Foreign Affairs, Ensemble PMV and Gulpt.
We’re delighted to be able to collaborate with Owen to offer this opportunity to young people. Opening up new avenues for enjoying music is the bedrock of the festival’s aims and we’re particularly pleased with this workshop to introduce kids to alternative and non-traditional forms of music creation.
